Why You Should Get A Laptop Sleeve?
Buying a laptop is certainly not so economical and after spending anywhere from $350-$1000 or even more, getting a laptop sleeve doesn’t sound like a bad idea. It would protect your laptop from things like water, moisture, dust and micro-dust particles – all of them can be harmful for your laptop, some in long-term others like water might end its life pretty quickly.
Laptop sleeves are available in different colors, designs and even materials. Materials are the ones that matter the most when it comes to the protection of your laptop and you can find laptop sleeves made from leather, nylon, neoprene and even some light plastic.
So, why does the material of these laptop sleeves matter? Obviously, the better the material, the better your laptop would be protected. Some of these materials can protect your laptop from random liquid spills and any other kind of moisture while others can prove beneficial in shock absorption and even if your laptop falls from an appropriate height.
However, you might already have an idea that none of these sleeves would make your laptop invincible and if it falls from a decenty height or any other serious accident (collision/fall) the laptop sleeve might not prove very protective. These laptop sleeves are only good for protecting your laptop from light damages while keeping good looks and feel.
But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get one because many of us are mostly good at protecting our dear laptops from any major falls and ironically they get damaged due to trivial reasons like spilling water over it, dropping from the chair or bed for that matter. In all such cases, a good (high quality) laptop sleeve would do the job and protect from any severe damages. Moreover, even slightest of the scratches can be prevented though they don’t affect the overall functionality of the laptop still no one would mind if their laptop looks like a new one.
Normally you can find decent laptop sleeves from $15-$50. However, for some models you might have to pay up to $100 or even more but those are really expensive laptops and paying that much doesn’t sounds like a bad idea for their protection.
